I need to update some details on my account

You can email us to change your details. Please email buspass@nationalexpress.com with the following information:

  • Name of account holder
  • Swift Card Number or Membership number
  • If you have an mTicket, the email address you signed up with.
  • Address that the account is registered to
  • Contact number

If we do not have this information we will not be able to complete your request.

I need to suspend my pass

If you have an Adult bus pass and would like to suspend it, instead of cancelling it, please call us on 0121 254 7272.

I need to cancel my pass 

Before you cancel your pass, did you know you can do the following?

1. If you are going away for a while, or won't be needing your Swift bus pass, you can suspend your pass (Adults only). This means that you can keep your account (and pass) but won't pay for the duration of the suspension, and your Swift Card will be temporarily stopped. You can suspend a pass for a minimum of 1 month and maximum of 6 months within a 12 month period, and the suspension must start at the end of a payment month (not half way through).

2. If you are cancelling because you need a different product, you can upgrade or downgrade your current pass! Just give us a call and we will be able to change the product that you have on your card. You can change what season pass you have, but can't change what product type, for example a monthly Direct Debit pass can be changed from a West Midlands pass to a Black Country pass, but you couldn't change from a monthly Direct Debit pass to an e-Daysaver pass. 

It's also important to know the following:

You will need to give 1 month notice if you are cancelling a pass.
If you cancel your pass and reapply in the next 12 months, there is a £15 reapplication fee. 

If you still want to cancel, you can email us but must include the following information:

  • Name of account holder
  • Swift Card Number or Membership Number
  • If you have an mTicket, the email address you signed up with
  • Address that the account is register to
  • Contact number
  • Reason for cancelling

If we do not have this information we will not be able to complete your request.
